HOW TO CHANGE TIME ON CREDIT CARD MACHINE TERMINAL
CHANGING THE TIME ON YOUR TERMINAL
(It may be different a password, procedure by processing company)
Omni
- From the main screen (Sale, Check, Settlement options), press
the (More key) two times.
- Choose Other Setup
- Password: 998877 or 1 alpha 66831 (the password is not always required), then
press Enter
- Press the More key 4 times
- Choose Date/Time
- Enter the date in the MMDDYYYY format (i.e. 01052009 for January
5, 2009)
- Press Enter
- Enter the time in the HHMMSS format (i.e. 133000 for 1:30 pm –
use military time)
- Press Enter
- Press Cancel until back to the main screen
Nurit
- From the main screen (Credit, Sale, Account), press the Menu
key. Some terminals may prompt for your password. If so type in the
appropriate password.
- Choose option 5
- Choose option 1
- The screen will show the date/time, press Enter
- Enter the date in the MMDDYY format (i.e. 010509 for January 5,
2009)
- DO NOT PRESS ENTER
- Enter the time in the HHMM format (i.e. 0830 for 8:30am – use
military time)
- DO NOT PRESS ENTER
- The screen will show the new date/time. Press Menu until back
to the main screen.
Hypercom T7 Series
- Normally pressing the Initialize key, then Enter will fix the
time
- If initializing does not correct the date/time, continue
following the steps below:
- Press the blue Function Key
- Type 1, 0, then Enter
- You will be prompted for the password; type 0000, then Enter
- Enter the date in the MMDDYY format
- Enter the time in the HHMM format, then press Enter
Hypercom Optimum T4100
- Press the blue Function Key
- Type 1, 0, then Enter
- You will be prompted for the password; type 0000, then Enter
- Enter the date in the MMDDYY format
- Enter the time in the HHMM format, then press Enter
Tranz
- Press * and 3 at the same time
- Screen will say “Diagnostics”. Press Alpha
- Enter the 4 digit year, then Enter
- Enter the 2 digit month, then Enter
- Enter the 2 digit day, then Enter
- Enter the 2 digit hour – military time format, then Enter
- Enter the 2 digit minute, then Enter
- Press Enter through the Seconds prompt
